An unashamed lover of Jesus who fully brings my thoughts and context as an African American woman to my theological understandings while holding space for the experiences and knowledge of others.

Wife to one, affectionately known as Mr. White. 

Mama to six, one of whom is resting in Heaven after a valiant battle with cancer.

My life is...a work in progress, trying to find balance between sabbath and work.

Completely yielded to His will.

I like...eating clean and a handful of gummy bears (I know, life is complicated).

And fashion... that is chill, but not boring and has a touch of modernity preferable in black or gray.

I look forward to...a head full of silver, natural hair.

I love...capturing life. Right now. The way it is in real life.

Because there is always beauty in the ashes.
